The Rockfit training centre at Carrer de Mèxic 5, Barcelona

We couldn't find a gym where we fit. So we had to build one by hand.

We wanted a place to actually train. Room to breathe and move, no queueing and no fighting for a machine, and a simple way to measure what you do and how you progress.

Here everyone has their own session, their own pace and their own progression, surrounded by people doing the same. Real personal training, in a group.

Does it work?It works.

More than 15,000 training sessions and 50 million movements analysed right here.

Why it works ↓

You just have to show up. Making it work is our job.

It used to happen to us too

«I get there and I don't know what to do»+

Your session is planned with a system that guides you movement by movement, based on what you and your coach decided.

«I don't feel like doing the same thing every day»+

Nor should you! Varying the stimulus in a controlled way makes you better and more complete. And you shouldn't train the same after a bad night's sleep as when you're at your best.

«I don't know whether what I'm doing is working»+

We look at it together, with a coach and with data: small details often make the difference, but you have to know where to look.

«I feel like I've stalled»+

I'd bet my right hand it's a lack of intensity. Shall we look at the data?

«I'm not an athlete»+

Neither would we be, if sport meant treadmills and dumbbells. Luckily it's nothing like that.

«I don't like training alone, but I don't want to speed up or slow down for everyone else»+

The only real personal training that happens in a group. The best of both worlds.

Don't come to try Rockfit. Come to try yourself.

A different kind of first session: it is designed to help, not to sell.

We'll tell you where we see opportunities and how we would work on them. After that, this place and the way we train either fit you or they don't.

If they fit, we'd love to work together. If they don't, you're still on the right track: you'll know what you need to work on — what's left is finding a way to keep at it.

Why it works

It isn't that we're smarter.
It's that we put more resources exactly where the data says they're needed.
In 99% of the people we assess, the data says the same thing: not enough power and not enough intensity.
We'll teach you how to apply it from day one.
And that isn't trained with machines or barbells.
It has to be tailored specifically to each person, with highly qualified coaches and with ten times more space per person than a conventional gym has. It's closer to calisthenics than to a weights room: your own body, measured load and someone watching.
That's why places where people train like this are hard to find outside elite sport.
In fact we had to build all of it by hand, because you can't even buy it :)

Don't take my word for it — try it.

If we don't hold you back, you won't be able to move the next day :)

If it weren't fun, you'd still have to train like this.It just happens to be fun as well.

More than 15,000 training sessions and 50 million movements analysed right here.

You don't get 100% five-star reviews over more than five years by giving bad advice.

The coaches and the owners train here, in the same groups as everyone else. Same times, same measurements. We don't know a better recommendation than that.

The Athlete Factory

We're not satisfied with just getting you strong and fitter. We know that's what's on your mind today, and we will get you there. But we want to be more ambitious than that, if you'll let us.

Being an athlete means turning sport into a solution instead of an obligation. That on a bad day it gives you endorphins instead of pain. That you can enjoy moving, because your body and your head are with you.

That's what we do here: find, together, your way of being an athlete — the one that fits your nature. And if one day you move away, you'll still be one. You'll know how to train wherever you are.

Most people exercise out of guilt or obligation. We want it to become part of who you are — and, whenever possible, something you do because you enjoy it.

This is self-determination theory (Deci and Ryan). It isn't us saying it.
